eni ATTENDS INTERNATIONAL CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW

January 7th, 2008- eni CEO Gene Raymondi and IS Executive Director, Chuck LaBarre attended the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Raymondi and LaBarre attended the show to research new ideas and technologies to integrate into eni's already advanced operations system capabilities.

Keynote speaker Bill Gates, chairman of Microsoft Corporation, launched the conference by introducing the concept of proactive technology - an idea Raymondi brought back to eni. "This proactive approach can be incorporated into our services by allowing our work/life experts to anticipate the needs of our customers, rather than simply responding to them."

The four day Consumer Electronics Show attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees by introducing innovative technologies from the world's leading innovators, including Microsoft, Samsung, Dell, Panasonic, Comcast, and Toshiba.
